How to Participate

Craft a unique, enticing menu at a special price point that highlights the best of what your business has to offer. This gives diners an accessible way to try your restaurant and showcases your culinary flair!

For example, you can create a:

Prix Fixe Menu: Offer a multicourse experience that highlights your restaurant's best dishes. This can range from appetizers and main courses to desserts, giving diners a well-rounded taste of your offerings.

Combo Meal Special: Create a signature combo or set menu with popular items, with or without beverages, curated specifically for Dine About 2025.

To Go Offer: Whether it's a full-course meal, meal kits, or signature dishes packaged for takeout, a to-go menu gives diners a taste of your restaurant with the flexibility of enjoying it on their own time and in their own space.

Gift cards must not have an expiration date. Submitting your gift card early increases your chance for optimal exposure.

Promotion Contributions

If this is your first time participating, the only required contribution is 2x $25 gift cards.

If you're a repeat participant, an honorarium of $50 is required in addition to 2x $25 gift cards.

Gift cards are used to promote your business on The Wolf, The Wave, and The Lounge radio stations.

Terms and Conditions

By registering your restaurant to participate in Dine About 2025, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • You will comply with all VIHA Regulations. Failure to follow guidelines may result in disqualification.
  • Participation fees are non-refundable and apply per location.
  • The list of participating restaurants will be released to the media and/or the public at the discretion of Dine About, who may also choose to release it early.
  • Your promotional offer must be submitted by December 15, 2024.
  • You acknowledge that Dine About reserves the right to select participating restaurants at its sole discretion and does not guarantee any specific sales or customer traffic.
  • Upon completing the registration, you commit to participating in Dine About 2025, and registration fees will not be refunded if you withdraw.
  • You agree to fully brief your staff on the event, ensuring high-quality service.
  • You will display all event-related materials, such as posters and decals, provided by Dine About for the entire duration of the festival, regardless of branding conflicts.
  • You permit Dine About to list your restaurant as a participant and include your logo or name in promotional content. You also agree that Dine About may share your restaurant’s contact details with event sponsors or partners.
  • You agree to provide gift cards, as outlined in the registration details.
  • You will address significant customer complaints brought to your attention by Dine About promptly.
  • After the event, you will complete a post-event survey, including sharing reservation data for the economic impact report.
